UConn Women's Basketball Releases 2022-23 Schedule

Huskies to Face Challenging Slate of Opponents

SNY and ESPN to Televise Select Games

STAMFORD, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's basketball team released its full 2022-23 season schedule on Monday, featuring a challenging slate of opponents that includes 10 games against ranked teams. The Huskies will also play six games on national television, including three on ESPN.

UConn opens the season on Nov. 11 against Northeastern at Gampel Pavilion. The Huskies will then host No. 1 South Carolina on Nov. 14 in a rematch of last year's national championship game. UConn will also face No. 10 Maryland, No. 14 Louisville, and No. 15 Stanford during the non-conference portion of the schedule.

The Huskies open BIG EAST play on Dec. 18 at home against DePaul. UConn will play eight conference games at home and eight on the road. The Huskies will face reigning BIG EAST champion Villanova twice, including once at Gampel Pavilion. BIG EAST play wraps up on Feb. 26 in Philadelphia against Georgetown.

UConn will also compete in the Phil Knight Legacy tournament in Portland, Oregon, from Nov. 25-27. The Huskies will face No. 12 Iowa State in the first round, followed by either No. 1 North Carolina or No. 24 Oregon. The tournament will be televised on ESPN.

The NCAA Tournament begins on March 16. The Huskies are seeking their 12th national championship.
