Lando Norris Breaks Max Verstappen's Winners Trophy

Just before the summer break, Max Verstappen and Lando Norris shared a smashing time in more ways than one. The McLaren drivers collided on the opening lap of the Hungarian Grand Prix, sending Verstappen's Red Bull car into a spin and Norris' McLaren into the barriers.
Trophy Destruction
Verstappen went on to win the race, but his victory was somewhat overshadowed by the incident with Norris. After the race, Norris was seen carrying Verstappen's winners trophy, a porcelain jug regarded as one of the most beautiful trophies in Formula 1. However, the trophy was badly damaged, with the handle snapped off and the base cracked.
It is not clear how the trophy was damaged, but it is believed that it may have been knocked off the top step of the podium by Norris as he was celebrating his third-place finish. Verstappen was understandably disappointed when he saw the state of his trophy, but he was magnanimous in defeat, saying that he was just glad to have won the race.
The incident has led to some speculation that Norris may have deliberately damaged the trophy, but there is no evidence to support this claim. It is more likely that the damage was simply an accident, albeit a rather unfortunate one.
